Develop a corporate strategy to:

  • identify or create a strategic platform, if it exists, or the need to create one.  
  • identify synergistic criteria.
  • determine return on investment objective.
  • review all acquisition criteria and objectives from an overall corporate perspective.
  • develop an ideal time line.
  • protect the confidentiality of the purchaser.
  • identify takeover targets.
  • make initial contact with prospective target companies.
  • prepare a list of qualified target companies ready to sell.
  • prepare and write an information package describing target company.
  • assist the client and its accountants to determine the appropriate purchase price of target company. 
  • secure adequate financing.
  • develop a negotiating strategy with client.
  • act as an intermediary between the buyer and seller.
  • assist client and its professionals in the preparation of the "Letter of Intent" and the "Offer to Purchase" from a practical business perspective.
  • assist client and its professionals in the closing of the transaction.
