BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
General Function:
Proven track record in mergers and acquisitions with an industry leader
in consulting, banking or accounting or in a merger and acquisitions
department of a multinational organization.
Qualifications:
One or more of the following professional degrees;

MBA, CA, CFA, Masters of PHD in Finance, Economics or Marketing.

Ability
to foresee industry trends and how to take a position to maximize
the benefits from the anticipated changes.

Ability
to explore with prospects their individual, specific needs from a
merger, acquisition or divestiture point of view.

Ability
to develop a mutual respect with owners and key representatives of
companies in certain industries.

Good accounting skills with a solid understanding of financial
statements

Good communication skills both for telephone work and working in a
group environment

Fundamental understanding of the M&A marketplace

Ability to work efficiently and handle multiple tasks and
responsibilities

Ability to work alone and to be highly self-motivated

Good computer skills and ability to learn new programs
-
Available to travel 2 days per week
